How did King Charles' phobia cause his death?

King Charles VIII of France, who ascended to the throne in 1483, was obsessed with the idea of being poisoned. As his phobia grew, the monarch ate so little that he died of malnutrition circa 1498.

  1. with your weight you might have to laugh 25hours a day. man we do like to eat. hahaha. still being big has its good points. but keep on laughing it makes you look young too. and with all that practice of the diaphragm you might become a great singer.

Isn't it a good thing he died. wasnt he aware of the existence of tasters?
imagine what would happen to the kingdom if he lived longer. it could have ended in shambles.
