Auburn Fire Blazed 700 Acres in the Placer County, California

The Auburn fire, especially at the Gold Country town had blazed approximately 700 acres in the Placer County as of last report. Total number of destroyed properties have not been declared yet, but it surely amount to millions of dollars. The fire went strong on dusk of Sunday at the Northern Auburn.

Firefighters were evacuating residents on Shale Ridge, Moss Rock and Saddle Back roads in Auburn, and officials sent an automated call to all homes with 7 miles of the fire requesting residents evacuate. Actually, U.S. President Obama gave the eulogy, while Ted Kennedy Jr. and Rep Patrick Kennedy gave their funeral remarks, the late senator's daughter Kara, stepson G. Curran Raclin Jr. and stepdaughter Caroline Raclin did the readings during the mass.

Vicky, the late senator's wife, who was formerly married to Grier Raclin - an attorney, showed fortitude in that great time of sorrow. Ted, often said that Vicky gave his father his strength and purpose as she stood by him through thick and thin.

NASA Shuttle Launch Scheduled Friday Night

NASA shuttle, Discovery, was supposed to be launched Friday morning, but after it was found out that there was a valve glitch, it was ordered that the launched would be on the evening of th same day. The said delay was ordered to give the engineers a little more time to be sure that the hydrogen valve in the engine compartment will function accurately during the space flight.

Discovery, the name of the shuttle, will be bringing supplies and equipment to the space station.During their tanking last Tuesday, the engineers found out that the valve fails to normally close and open during an operation. SO, hopefully, the launching will be successful.

Hurricane Danny Towards Cape Cod

For the second time this season, another hurricane, called Hurricane Danny, will strike the Cape Cod. This hurricane is considered to be under Category 1 as it slowly moves northeastward toward Cape Cod this Saturday, August 22, 2009. It will then quickly cross to Canada the next day as it weakens its signal.

As of the latest news bulletin, As estimated, Danny is moving at the speed of 45 mph, while its eye is at 450 miles east of Nassau and 775 miles south to southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.

Hurricane Danny is expected to weaken and behave as a tropical storm on Sunday, August 23, 2009.

Patti Davis, the wild child of the late former US President Ronald Reagan and wife, Nancy Davis Reagan, showed her rebellion to her father's politics by posing for the famous men's magazine Playboy.

When she was 41, she once again made a "scandalous" act against her family when she posed for the same magazine naked while her breasts are covered with a black man's hands - as shown on the attached picture above. Megan Wants A Millionaire Canceled

VH1 has already canceled the show, Megan Wants a Millionaire,when they found out that Ryan Jenkins, a contestant of the show and suppose to be listed as one of the finalists, is wanted for a murder.

According to reports, Jenkins was a suspect for the death of Jasmine Fione, a woman he met and married in Las Vegas last March. Fione's nude lifeless body was found in a suitcase, which was dumped behind an apartment at Buena Park.

For obvious reasons, VH1 has decided to cancel the show, together with all its promotional information.

Flash News: Michael Phelps Had a Car Crash

Michael Phelps, swimmer champion, recently had a car crash in Baltimore. There were two passengers in his vehicle including him, and the other vehicle had a female driver. Fortunately, Phelps and his companion were not injured.

According to the AP, Phelps was interviewed by police on the scene and alcohol was not a factor. (There was no mention of marijuana)

Tokyo, Japan experienced a 6.9 earthquake magnitude around 7:00 PM tonight according to the news. The Tokyo earthquake poses no tsunami possibilty according to authorities.

Derrick Thomas' Death

Derrick Thomas death is such a tragedy. He when his SUV went off the road. Thomas, who was driving, was Aspeeding and weaving through traffic.

Thomas and one of the passengers were not wearing seat belts and both were thrown from the car; the passenger was killed instantly. The second passenger, who was wearing his safety belt, walked away from the scene uninjured. Thomas was left paralyzed from the chest down. He died on February 8, 2000, in Miami, of a pulmonary embolism, a massive blood clot that developed in his paralyzed lower extremities and traveled through his venous system to his lungs.
